As of this moment, online orders are handled directly through email or Facebook. As the website is still under construction, our online shop hasn’t been finalized and therefore you are unable to purchase from our website in a traditional manner.

We do not offer any guarantee on hatchability due to conditions beyond our control during shipment or forms of transportation, hatching equipment or methods used.
Rudiger Hatchery offers refunds or replacements that cover breakage only. Any damage or broken hatching eggs must be reported promptly upon arrival. (Within 12 hours of Delivery Receipt). Refund is calculated based on percentage of broken eggs in order.
Hatching eggs are viable for two weeks, or 14 days after being laid. Extended shipping times are not expected but may occasionally occur. If you experience a delay in shipping, please incubate the eggs as normal. Without shipping insurance, Rudiger Hatchery does not offer refunds or replacements for lost or delayed eggs.
Shipping insurance is an optional add on for any shipped eggs that you purchase. If you purchase shipping insurance and your eggs are lost by USPS or take more than 7 days to arrive, we will replace your hatching eggs.
Shipping insurance is only to cover incidents where eggs are lost or delayed. Shipping insurance is not a guarantee for hatch rate. No refunds will be offered for shipping insurance.
Due to our facility not having an official storefront, and operating out of our home and family farm, any order pick up is strictly by appointment.
Pick up can be arranged by contacting us via Facebook or email. Message us with your desired date and time and we will do our best to accommodate you.
For the health and welfare of our animals we may refuse you access into our facilities or in and near our animals, our enclosures or buildings. Due to many pathogens capable of being carried on clothing and transferred to an animal via contact, you may be requested to wait while we gather your animals, eggs of supplies/merchandise. We typically do not allow visitors or customers to handle any of our animals due to risk of injury or illness.
Juvenile Poultry, such as juvenile quail, are guaranteed to be live on arrival or pickup only. Rudiger Hatchery does not extend any further policies on quality or livability once the animal leaves our care. Due to the many variables and fragility of young quail, we can only provide these birds with the best start and quality of life while in our care. Once they leave our possession, there is no guarantee for them, nor will we offer returns, refunds or replacements.
Juvenile Poultry, such as juvenile chickens, ducks, turkey or other, are guaranteed to be live on arrival or pickup and for 24 hours after. We guarantee we are offering you healthy and happy poultry, and should one of your chicks, ducklings, or turkey poults expire within 24 hours of pick up: please contact us promptly. We may require photo-evidence of the expired/deceased animal, and you may have to provide answers regarding your type of set up, feed, water, heating conditions, etc. Should an issue arise regarding your set up or living situation for the animal, Rudiger Hatchery retains the right to refuse replacement of the animal and in that situation will offer you a refund. You may be offered a full refund for the expired animal, or you may be offered a replacement if one is available.
Due to the nature of disease and the ease of transfer from one bird to the next, we do not accept any returns of poultry (including quail, chicken, ducks, geese, peafowl and/or turkey) or hatching eggs.
Merchandise may be returned if within 30 days of the original purchase date. Items must be unused and in resellable condition. Customer is responsible for return shipping. Refund or replacement will be issued upon receipt of the item.
Due to strict bio-security regulations at the state and federal level, we are unable to accept back any used items. This includes apparel, dishware, novelty items, animal feed, supplies or equipment.
